Venice
June 29, 2008 at 1:56 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 2 CommentsOn our way to Venice we stopped in Verona – a great little town with delicious gelati and which is famous för being the supposed setting of the Romeo and Juliet story.
Venice was great fun. We saw some amazing views of the city and St Marks square from the bell tower, went on a gondola ride and had the best gnocci we have ever tasted! We also managed to get completely lost for most of the afternoon – it was a great way to see a lot of the city!.

So pleased you got to rie in a gondola and that gelati looks very tasty. Miche bought a digital SLR camera today – not doubt she’ll be taking lots of practice snaps over coming weeks. Enjoy the last days of your tour & don’t forget to get your friends emails. Love V & J
